- Sound waves from an external stimulus enter the ear and travel through the ear canal.
- As the waves hit the eardrum, it vibrates.

- Tiny hair cells within the cochlea translate the vibrations into electrical signals.
- These signals are sent to the brain where they are processed and interpreted.
How Are Vaping and Hearing Loss Related?

Nicotine’s Impact: Nicotine, a common component in traditional cigarettes as well as e-cigarettes, is known to restrict blood flow.
